This
homepage is developed for Sri Radha Govind Dham, Ahmedabad. Sri Radha
Govind Dham is one of the many temples
established in the world as a part of Hare Krishna movement of
International Society for Krishna Consciousness (founded by His Devine
Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila
Prabhupada ).
Ahmedabad temple was inaugurated on 16-17
April, 1997 (auspicious occasion of Ram Navami) by Acarya of the Mayapur
Gurukul H.H. Srimad Bhakti Vaibhav Puriji Maharaj. H.H. Srimad Bhakti
Vidya Purna Maharaj with his 18 disciples, who are experts in performing
Prana Pratishtha Yagya (Deity installation), graced the occasion
and did Prana Pratishtha. A number of senior devotees and around 50
Sanyasis
also graced the occasion.
There are
deities of Sri Sri Nityananda Prabhu- Sri Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (Sri
Gaur Nitai), Srila Prabhupada, Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami
Maharaj, Sri Sri
radha Govindji, Sri Sri Shrinathji (Gopalji), Sri Prahalad Maharaj,
Sri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Dev and Sri Sri Sita, Ram, Laxman, Hanumanji in
the new temple. Srila Prabhupada is seating in front of all the deities.
In the Old temple there are Sri Sri Nityananda Prabhu-Sri Sri Chaitanya
Mahaprabhu (Sri Gaur Nitai).
